Famodun consoles Adagunodo, others over death of three PDP leaders

Following the successive death of three leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State within a period of one week, the state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in the state, Prince Gboyega Famodun, has consoled his counterpart, Mr Soji Adagunodo, the state PDP chairman, over the tragic incidents.
In a statement issued by the Media Consultant to the party chairman, Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo today, Famodun said the death of the three principal members of the party was indeed a great loss to the PDP and members of their families.
It would be recalled that Mr Bade Ogundiran, the PDP chairman in Boluwaduro Local Government Council Area of the state was the first to bid farewell to the world.
While the mourning of the late Ogundiran was in progress, the death of Hon Edward Keshiro, a PDP leader in Oriade Local Government Council Area of the state in an auto accident was also announced.
As if that was not enough, Hon Mathew Olaosebikan Jegede, the party’s chairman in Oriade Local Government Council Area of the state was also said to have joined the great majority as a result of his being knocked down by a vehicle while urinating by the road side on Lagos – Ibadan Express Road.
Famodun said, he sympathised and empathised with the entire PDP family over the death of the three eminent members of their party within a period of three weeks.
He hinted that it is only God, the author and finisher of the mortals’ faith who determines when human beings are launched into the world that equally has the supreme power and authority to determine the exit time.
The party chairman stated that this world can be likened to a proverbial market place where human beings get to and leave at different times.
He said that as it is definite for a market patron to leave when he finishes his transactions, so it is imperative for all mortals to die at God-appointed time.
Famodun prayed to God to grant the families, wellwishers, and friends of the fallen PDP politicians, the necessary impetus to bear the irreparable loss of their dear ones.
